(10/01) There will be a (closed-book) quiz at the beginning of our next
class, Thursday (10/4). The quiz will be around 15 minutes and be on
one-time pads. You should know: what a one-time pad is, why it is secure,
and why it is impractical for most purposes. You should review the on-line notes and Singh (pp. 115-124 and Appendix G).
