Principles of Programming Languages — Conference Project Guidelines

Project Requirements

• You should submit a short writeup (no more than four or five pages long) describing what you did for your project. Your writeup should give some introductory background and then discuss the particular approach you took and the main results of your project. For instance, if you added language extensions to your interpreter, you should give some examples of these extensions and discuss how you implemented them. If you wrote a program in Scheme or studied a different programming language or system, you should describe the programs you developed. Your writeup should be grammatically correct and well-written, and if appropriate should include detailed and clear instructions on how to run your project code. If your code contains bugs or other problems or shortcomings that you know about, you should briefly describe them here.

• Please submit all of your project files electronically, including:

  • Your project writeup in PDF format
  • All source code program files (Scheme, Ruse, Python, Javascript, etc.)
  • Any supporting files necessary to run your program (image files, text files, etc.)
  • Anything else necessary to run your code

  Please be sure to include your name in a comment at the top of each program file.
