• p. 187 (equation at top):  -(1/2) / ((x -zi)² / sigma²)  should be  -(1/2) * ((x- zi)² / sigma²)
• p. 195 (line 2 from bottom):  "f at the output"  should be  "g at the output"

• p. 220 (line 15 from bottom):  "referred to as {y_k}"  should be  "referred to as y_k"
• p. 220 (line 5 from bottom):  "-c subtracted"  should be  "c subtracted"
• p. 226 (equation at top):   all four absolute value terms should be squared  (e.g., | w - w_k |  should be  | w - w_k | ²  )
